Liam Tombs
Assistant Producer & Animateur in Primary School Cluster, Worcestershire
Liam is Animateur and Assistant Producer for C&T. In his Assistant Producer role, he supports Rob Lines in the company’s funding and communications strategies.
Since April 2008 he has been our Animateur in the four primary who are a part of our Bromsgrove Cluster Pilot Project in conjunction with Worcestershire Extended Services . Through this role he explores how C&T’s practice and models of work can be applied in the primary school setting and work so far work has included Living Newspaper performances, PHSE in Key Stage one and a variety of Lipsyncs.
Liam read Drama and Performance Studies at the University of Worcester graduating in 2006, and like Dan Morgan first came into contact with C&T through the range of undergraduate modules C&T contributes to the Drama Department. He joined the company as an Associate Animateur in 2007 working with youth theatres and on other community projects until taking up his current post in May 2008.
His previous experience also includes time as Creative Arts Worker at Sunfield in Stourbridge , a residential school for young people with severe and complex learning needs and also time in cinema management.
