National Portfolio Funding Decision

The Board is relieved that C&T is able to carry on its work with young people across the country with the support of Arts Council England and is pleased to be selected to be in the portfolio of nationally funded organisations. We look forward to working with them, with partner organisations, schools and colleges and with young people over the next four years.

Of course we are aware that for many organisations the news has not been positive and our thoughts are with them as they absorb the implications of reductions in funding. 

Notes:

1. Arts Council England has made its funding decisions for cultural organisations for the period of 2012-15. C&T has been awarded the following:
            2012-13         £70,972
            2013-14         £72,604
            2014-15         £74,492

2. C&T is receiving £70,972 from ACE for the financial year 2011-12.

3. ACE funding represents 20% of C&T’s total income. The remaining 80% C&T either earns, or secures from project partners and independent grant-making trusts.
