Research
It’s important to C&T to know not only that what we do works, but to know why it works. To that end, we conduct a number of research-related activities.
In-house Academic Research
C&T invests in conducting its own research activity. This has resulted in an MA in the liminal status of the arts practitioner and a PhD in C&T’s unique form of applied theatre: the Dramatic Property.
Published Work
Other academics and practitioners around the world take an interest in what we do. They write about us, analysing and assessing our practice, and comparing it to associated practice all over the world.
The Research Community
C&T participates in many national and international conferences and symposia, most recently at the International Drama In Education Research institute gathering in Sydney.
You can download a number of examples of this research activity in the Downloads section of this site.
