What do we offer?
First, Primary and Middle schools can now affordably access the same world-class drama practice enjoyed by our partner secondary schools. Our mix of drama, digital media and participation brings huge benefits to younger children.
At minimal cost you can now have a long-term relationship with a professional theatre company, who share your ambitions for high quality creative learning.
What we do
Each year, C&T will work one afternoon a week in your school to:
- Run six, 6-week extended day drama groups
- Over 36 afternoons, support your delivery of a creative curriculum in the classroom
- Run a holiday drama week.
Because extra-curricular activity earns 80% of the total cost, the contribution from the school is £300 a term.
This new way of working has been developed over the last two years in partnership with Worcestershire County Council Extended Services Department. We’ve been successfully running in a rural primary school (Blakedown, Kidderminster) and a town-based first school (Meadows, Bromsgrove).
