Arts and Culture

Working at the nexus of creativity, pedagogy and technology makes us ideal for helping arts and cultural organisations engage with the digital revolution.

We have been working with digital technologies for over ten years, and have earned an international reputation for our work - by effectively fusing arts, learning and IT.  Now we can put that expertise to work for you: auditing your needs, facilitating open debate about your digital strategy, and, helping you to design the right solutions for social media, video gaming or mobile.

Many agencies can design websites, Apps or tools, but do they fully understand the requirements of Arts Educators, and the schools that they work with? C&T certainly does because that's what we do, day in, day out. We can sympathetically help you arrive at the digital solution that's right for you.

We can help with policy and strategy, and we can design and build sites and Apps for you too. And, if we don't think we're right for the job, we'll be up front and tell you. Our experience of the web is that it is at its' best when its about openness and collaboration: we'll bring those values to working with you, facilitating the solution that's right for you, not for us!

Recent examples:

  • We worked with Senior Managers, in the Arts Education Department of Warwick Arts Centre, to help them design an architecture for a social media website - enabling schools in Coventry to collaborate online, which they then put out to competitive tender.
  • With China Place and Contender Charlie, we designed and built an interactive online education resource for their touring production of Macbeth: Blood Will Have Blood.  We trained their staff to use the site in schools, and worked with the whole production team to ensure the site reflected the core values of the production and the company. • We have led Professional Development Workshops for Senior Managers  at Arts Council England, West Midlands, helping them design regional and national policies for digital media.
  • We are working with Arts Connect WM, helping them to design and build a major web app that will drive collaborations between arts organisations and schools.
