Story Systems: our technology, your narrative
Story Systems are participatory creative experiences that combine drama, storytelling and digital technology. Developed by C&T, they enable audiences, learners and communities to actively shape narratives through performance, interaction and digital collaboration, often globally.
Story Systems can take place in schools, theatres, museums, public spaces or online. They facilitate learning, cultural engagement and social participation. Using our digital platform Prospero, we create immersive projects that blend drama, creative learning and accessible technology to connect people and cultures around the world, encourage dialogue and build meaningful shared experiences.
One system, many stories. So there’s one to fit you and your needs:
Signal Stories
The world around us is changing fast. Media, science, technology. Time to make sense of this landscape. From documentary dramas to space exploration Signal Stories are about the digital world around us and the skills we need to flourish in it.
Place Stories
Everything happens somewhere. Place Stories are about mapping our place in the world around us, past, present and future. Using technologies like digital maps and GPS functionality, Place Stories help us to make our mark on the world and connect with others globally.
Civic Games
Make the theatre space and the digital space one forum for consultation and engagement. Civic Games make a difference by sharing meanings, perspectives and solutions to problems, with hard evidence to back them up
Collective Mythologies
Collective Mythologies invite communities to co-create shared narratives, blending theatre, memory, folklore and digital storytelling to explore identity, place, culture and collective imagination.
Motion Stories
Actions speak louder than words. Movement, gestures, signs. Motion Stories fuse real world actions with digital interaction, creating new playful ways to explore and interrogate the world around us through innovative motion tracking new technologies.
